Robin Bender
Founder & CEO
Mississippi native, Robin Symone Bender is wife to Jeremy Bender, passionate licensed Cosmetologist, and Educator of ten plus years.
She is the owner and operator of Salon Clutch Couture, a full-service, Hattiesburg, Mississippi-based hair salon.
Salon Clutch specializes in everything from natural hair care, relaxers, micro link (hair extensions), to makeup and beauty applications. We also specialize in sew-ins, hand-made wigs, and overall healthy hair maintenance.
Robin Symone is best known for her hand painting (Balayage) skills on textured hair. She created the 'Robin Symone Method' of applying Microlinks and offers incredible education workshops on this very method to other stylists in Mississippi and beyond.

Karissa May
Hair Stylist & Makeup Artist
Originally from Columbia, Mississippi, Karissa currently lives in Hattiesburg. Both a hairstylist and makeup artist, Karissa offers both services to clients at Salon Clutch Couture.
Right now, Karissa is loving to provide clients with sew-ins and wig installations. Her favorite makeup at the moment is the Fenty foundation and she can't leave the house without eyelashes! She's been doing makeup and hair for about 4 years now and has an aspiration to one day be a celebrity stylist.
When Karissa's not in the salon, she’s watching YouTube or hanging out at Chili's with her boyfriend!

CHRISTIE PETERS
HEALTHY HAIR SPECIALIST
Meet Christie Peters! She is a wife, mother, sister, and friend. Her motto is “God First and Love
Everybody”. She started her career as a Stylist after earning her degree in Business
Administration. After years of working in the retail and the
banking industry, she decided to take on a career that would
allow her to be independent, passionate, and creative. This
is what led to her career as a Licensed Cosmetologist and a
Healthy Hair Specialist. She has been licensed for over a
decade and has had the privilege of being mentored by a few
extraordinary and gifted women along the way. She has
been obsessed with the overall health of hair. Even though
she encourages all of her clients to come on the natural hair
journey, she also respects that it is not for everyone.
Listening to her clients to help them achieve their hair goals
is a top priority. Therefore, she also offers chemical services,
but in the safest way possible without compromising the
overall health of the hair and scalp. Christie once stated,
“Being a stylist doesn’t feel like work at all, it is relaxing and therapeutic.” Even though she
considers this to be a relaxing career, she relies heavily on the guidance from her Father,
Jehovah God. One of her favorite Bible verses is: “For I know the plans I have for you, “declares
the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
